Investing in Yourself
How can I be the best me?
We all have had those days where we feel we are not worth anything. We have this feeling of disappointment in our lives and wonder how we got there. We find ourselves looking at other people’s lives thinking, how did they make the right decisions in life? We think to ourselves, I feel I should be making more money or living in a bigger house or driving this type of car. All of this is natural and so many people do this. But if that is so, is it healthy?
I say yes! Why? When you sit and think about where you FEEL you should be in life, it’s a sign you have not been giving 100% to your direction. This is a sign that you know deep down you should be putting more time in a certain area of your life. Sure, you could turn around and say that’s not healthy thinking and you should be happy where you are. Believing this is by all means you’re right, but believing you have more to give is the fire some people find in the meaning of life!
A really good way to get the most out of life is to surround yourself with people who are at different stages of life. It could be someone with a solid business, marriage, parenting or in great shape. Do everything you can to not judge these people. Just be present to what they do and observe what they do with open eyes. Find inspiration and see where it takes you. There is a saying that anything good in life takes time to achieve… This is so true!
Believing you’re doing good for yourself by sitting on the couch is a falsehood. It takes energy and drive to start something new. It is not a good idea to think you are too old to do something, when you do, you start to put limitations on your life. When this happens, this is when you find yourself sitting and wondering what if I would have done this or that. Never put limitations on anything you do… be free and open to what your heart is telling you. Go, be young, and live your life! Listen to no one who tries to stop you. One day it will stop on its own, so don’t delay!
